Information You Provide

Contact Information
When you purchase a service or contact us, we collect your name, email address, and any other details you voluntarily share.

LinkedIn Profile Information
To deliver your Makeover or Content Subscription, we ask you to provide your LinkedIn profile URL and, where relevant, your existing profile content (e.g., your current headline, About section, work history, or profile text). We only work with information you choose to share with us. We do not access your LinkedIn account directly, connect to the LinkedIn API on your behalf, or gather information from LinkedIn through automated means.

Writing Samples
Subscribers are asked to provide a short writing sample at signup, and may share more over time, so we can match your voice. These samples are used solely for the purpose of producing your deliverables.

Content Preferences
During signup and ongoing intake we may collect details you provide about your role, audience, topics you want to cover or avoid, goals, and opinions, so we can tailor your posts. This information is used solely to produce your deliverables, under the same limits as the rest of the intake information above.

Payment Information
Payments are processed by Stripe, a third-party payment processor. When you make a purchase, your payment card details are entered directly into Stripe's secure payment interface. We do not receive or store your full card number, CVV, or other sensitive payment credentials. We retain only non-sensitive billing information such as your billing name, email address, and transaction records necessary for accounting purposes.

Communications
If you contact us by email or through any other channel, we retain those communications for service delivery and record-keeping purposes.

Information Collected Automatically

When you visit our website, basic technical information may be collected automatically, including your IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, and referring URL. This information is used for analytics and to improve our website experience. See Section 7 (Cookies and Tracking) for more detail.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

Service Delivery
To produce and deliver your LinkedIn Makeover, Content Subscription posts, and any other services you have purchased.

Communication
To send you your deliverables, respond to your inquiries, provide billing notifications, and share important updates about your account or our services (such as reminders before a complimentary period ends or upcoming pricing changes).

Billing and Payments
To process transactions, manage recurring subscription billing, and maintain records required for accounting and legal compliance.

Service Improvement
To understand how our services are used, identify quality issues, and improve our offerings over time. We may use anonymized or aggregated data for this purpose.

Legal Compliance
To comply with applicable laws, regulations, and legal obligations, and to protect the rights and safety of Profile Pros and our clients.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your information for third-party advertising.

3. Third-Party Services

We work with a limited number of trusted third-party service providers to operate our business. These providers access your information only as necessary to perform services on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for other purposes.

Stripe
We use Stripe to process payments. Stripe handles all payment card data directly and is compliant with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS). You can review Stripe's privacy practices at stripe.com/privacy.

Google Workspace
We use Google Workspace (including Gmail) for business email communications. Correspondence sent to or from hello@profilepros.ai is processed through Google's infrastructure.

Airtable
We use Airtable as part of our internal operations for organizing client information, tracking orders, and managing service delivery workflows.

AI Content Generation Services
We use one or more AI-based tools to assist in generating written content for Makeover deliverables and Content Subscription posts. These tools process the information you provide to us (such as your profile content and writing samples) in order to generate personalized output. We do not identify specific AI providers in this policy, as the tools we use may change over time.

All third-party providers used by Profile Pros are required to maintain appropriate security standards and to handle personal information in a manner consistent with this policy.

4. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services and comply with our legal obligations.

Active Clients: We retain your information for the duration of our service relationship with you, including any active subscription period.

After Service Ends: Following the conclusion of our service relationship (e.g., after your subscription is cancelled or your Makeover is delivered and the refund window has passed), we retain your information for a reasonable period as required for legal, accounting, and compliance purposes. In most cases, this retention period does not exceed 3 years.

Communications: Email correspondence is retained in accordance with our standard data management practices and applicable legal requirements.

When we no longer have a lawful basis to retain your information, we will delete or anonymize it in a secure manner.

5. LinkedIn Data

Profile Pros works exclusively with information that you voluntarily provide to us. We do not access your LinkedIn account, collect data from LinkedIn through automated means, or use LinkedIn's APIs to gather information about you or any third party.

Any LinkedIn content we create on your behalf (such as profile rewrites or posts) is delivered to you for your own use. You are solely responsible for posting that content to your LinkedIn profile. Profile Pros does not post to LinkedIn on your behalf unless you separately and explicitly authorize us to do so for a specific purpose.

6. Payment Information

All payment transactions are processed by Stripe. Profile Pros does not store, transmit, or have access to your full payment card number, security code, or other sensitive card details.

We retain non-sensitive payment records, including transaction IDs, amounts, dates, and billing contact information, for accounting and compliance purposes.

7. Cookies and Tracking

Our website may use cookies and similar tracking technologies to enhance your browsing experience and collect basic analytics data.

What We Use Cookies For:

• Understanding how visitors use our website (e.g., which pages are most visited)
• Maintaining basic site functionality
• Advertising measurement and retargeting on our marketing pages (see below)

Advertising cookies. Our public marketing pages use the LinkedIn Insight Tag, a cookie based tool from LinkedIn Corporation. It helps us measure whether our LinkedIn advertising works and lets us show ads on LinkedIn to people who have visited our site. LinkedIn may associate your visit with your LinkedIn account under its own privacy policy. We do not see your identity through this tool. You can opt out of LinkedIn ads personalization in your LinkedIn settings at any time, and blocking cookies in your browser prevents this tracking entirely. Pages used by existing customers to manage their service do not require these cookies.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect some features of the website but will not affect your ability to receive the services you have purchased.

If we implement additional third-party analytics tools (such as Google Analytics), we will update this section accordingly.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Correction: Request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete information.

Deletion: Request that we delete your personal information, subject to any legal obligations we may have to retain certain data.
